REAL Role Models

• Are you a self-identifying woman aged 21+?
• Are you someone who loves to move your body regularly?
• Do you have a passion for empowering girls through sport, physical activity, and/or education?

If you answered YES to these criteria, then we want to hear from you! 

REAL (Relatable, Empowered, Active Leaders) Role Models (RRMs) are the foundation of our organization. Those in our RRM network volunteer thousands of hours annually, to assist in hosting and leading our local and virtual events and programming. 

RRMs who reside in communities where Girls Forward events or programs are not yet present, often support the organization in other ways such as through workshop delivery, guest speaking engagements, social media and communications content development, fundraising, and sharing the Girls Forward mission whenever they can.

Ranging from professional athletes, educators, coaches, undergraduate students, to the recreational athlete or weekend warrior; these inspiring women provide opportunities for powerful connections with self-identified girls in their communities. 

In addition to empowering girls online and in their communities, our REAL Role Models also empower each other! Through our program, we provide RRMs with a network that includes professional development, networking opportunities, and the potential to make long lasting high-powered friendships.
