FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE CO-CHAIR ANNOUNCEMENT

Girls Forward Foundation is thrilled to introduce our first Fundraising Committee under the Girls Forward brand. Our co-chairs, Maureen Terralheiro and Andrea Chestnutt, will be leading the committee.

Maureen Terralheiro is a global transformation leader with many years as a senior leader in the corporate world. She’s a lifelong sports lover, a fierce supporter of youth athletics, and a mom of two competitive-baseball boys she’s raising to be confident, compassionate allies. If there’s a field, a dugout, or a leadership moment to be found, Maureen is all in. 

Now she’s bringing that same energy to Girls Forward- helping create spaces where girls can lead boldly, dream big, and take up every inch of the field (and the world).

Andrea Chestnutt is a lifelong volleyball player and firm believer in the power of sport to inspire, connect, and build confidence. Whether she’s digging on the court, leaping from a plane, or enjoying a quiet coffee outdoors, Andrea brings energy, curiosity, and dedication to everything she does. A proud mother of two, she’s passionate about helping the next generation discover their own love of movement, whatever form that may take. 

She brings her professional expertise, fundraising experience, and unwavering belief in Girls Forward’s mission to her role as Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee.
