2026 Game. Set. Equity. Community Partnership Announcement
Girls Forward Foundation Partners with Game. Set. Equity.
Girls Forward Foundation is proud to announce a partnership with Tennis Canada’s Game. Set. Equity. presented by National Bank.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment between Girls Forward and Tennis Canada to advance equity in sport and support girls and women to access meaningful experiences through tennis.
Through this support, Girls Forward will be able to offer a community tennis program, creating new opportunities for girls to engage in sport, build confidence, and stay connected to movement in a supportive environment.
At a time when Canadian tennis stars like Victoria Mboko, Leylah Annie Fernandez, and Bianca Andreescu continue to inspire the next generation, and with the National Bank Open presented by Rogers set to award equal prize money to women and men for the first time in 2027, there couldn’t be a more meaningful moment to introduce more girls to tennis through this partnership with Tennis Canada and National Bank.
About Game. Set. Equity.
To create sustainable change for women and girls in all areas of Canadian tennis, Tennis Canada’s Game. Set. Equity. commitment includes several different opportunities to access resources, programming, and professional development.
Tennis Canada partnered with National Bank on their Game. Set. Equity. strategy beginning in 2023. This ambitious and holistic strategy details how Tennis Canada will advance equity for women and girls at all levels of the tennis ecosystem in Canada, from the playground to the pro tours.
Looking Ahead
We’re excited to bring tennis programming to our community and create more spaces for girls to discover the lifelong benefits of sport. We look forward to launching the program in Ottawa, Ontario this fall.
